Sunday, October 20, is the deadline to vote for Peru's eight nominations at the 2024 World Travel Awards —known as the Tourism Oscars— which recognize the best in global tourism.

At the 2023 World Travel Awards edition, Peru was crowned winner in four categories: World's Leading Tourist Attraction: Machu Picchu, World's Leading Culinary Destination, World's Leading Cultural Destination, and South America's Leading Destination.

The eight nominations in different categories that Peru received at the prestigious event, which consolidates it as one of the most fascinating destinations for world travelers, are:

Machu Picchu. Our flagship tourism wonder was awarded the recognition five times (2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022)
