Peruvian Prime Minister Alberto Otarola on Monday highlighted the provisions issued to promote the implementation of the Digital Single Window for Mining - VUD MINEM, approved today by supreme decree and published in
El Peruano Official Gazette.
"It was done as it was said. Less than a week ago, we announced it, and today we already have provisions for the Digital Single Window for Mining - VUD MINEM," he said in a message posted on social media.
The Cabinet chief noted that the measures were adopted, “without excluding current requirements,” adding that their implementation will help reduce the number of processes, thus becoming more efficient and attracting mining investment to the country.
The Ministry of Energy and Mines laid the foundation to accelerate the launch of the Digital Single Window for Mining (VUD MINEM).
The purpose of this decree is to enhance and make viable actions that allow for the implementation of said window, optimizing the efforts aimed at its implementation for the unblocking and development of mining activity in a responsible manner.
