Peru: President Vizcarra's approval rating up 30 points to 82%

Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra's approval rating skyrocketed 30 percentage points, from 52% to 82%, the latest Datum poll revealed Thursday.

According to the survey, the approval rating for the Head of State increased after he decided to constitutionally dissolve Congress on September 30

Likewise, 85% of respondents agree with the President's decision to dissolve Parliament, while 77% think this measure is in conformity with the Constitution. 

Moreover, 74% of those polled believe the top official's decision to dissolve Congress is beneficial, whereas 17% think the opposite and say it was harmful.
