Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Wednesday stressed the importance of municipalities making an effort to execute more than 80% of their public investment budgets this year, with the aim of
and closing social gaps.
The Head of State recalled that nearly S/20 billion (about US$6 billion) was allocated for such investments in 2019, but merely S/12 billion (about US$3.6 billion) was spent.
On this occasion, the President was joined by Prime Minister Vicente Zeballos, Economy-Finance Minister Maria Antonieta Alva, and Remurpe members.
