55,388,564 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the
Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.
Out of that total, 22,964,339 were given as second dose.
Within this framework, 7,251,531 citizens have been vaccinated with a booster dose.
This figure represents 58.9% of the vulnerable population.
It also accounts for 25.9% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.
