Teams from the Health Ministry arrived in Manchay area in Pachamac district (Lima) on Wednesday to provide comprehensive and free-of-charge health care services to residents of four human settlements.
Minors and adults were tested for COVID-19 and received vaccination, as well as mental health counseling during the current health emergency.
Given the low temperatures registered in that area, the most vulnerable people were immunized against influenza and pneumococcus.
Children under the age of five also received screening and supplements to prevent anemia.
