Peruvian Natalia Cuglievan on Monday won a new gold medal for Peru at the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.

She managed to qualify for the final last Sunday by ending in fourth in the preliminary events.

Today, she showed all the talent to retain her title, the fourth of its kind for Peru in Lima 2019.

Our representative got a total of 9,910 points, beating Erika Lang (U.S.) and Louise Rini (Canada) in the final held at Bujama Lagoon.

Natalia Cuglievan already knows what it means to celebrate in the Pan American Games, as she grabbed gold in Toronto 2015. A few months ago, she won the South American Beach Games in Rosario 2019.

To date, Peru has nine medals at the 2019 Pan American Games. It is already the best performance of our country in this type of competitions.
