16:00 | Lima, Nov. 6.

Four Peruvians repatriated from the Lebanese capital, Beirut, will arrive in Lima tomorrow, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday.

The rescue effort was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Brazilian government and its Air Force.

The Peruvian citizens arrived at Sao Paulo Airport earlier today.

From the aforementioned Brazilian city, they will take a flight tomorrow to Jorge Chavez International Airport in the Peruvian capital.

The situation of Peruvian residents in Beirut worsened when Israel bombed the city in early October, as part of its attacks on the Hezbollah group.
