Peru's terms of trade registered a growth of 4.3% in September this year compared to the same month in 2018, the Central Reserve Bank (BCR) has reported.
Traditional
BCR also explained that export prices rose 0.9%, based on the higher average prices in the
traditional sector (1.3%).
Within this framework, the rise in the price of
gold stood out (26.1%), followed by those of
coffee (8.1%) and
copper (0.3%).
Non-traditional
Imports
On the other hand, import prices decreased 3.3% in September, mainly of oil and derivatives.
