Peru: President participates in thanksgiving ceremony

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Friday morning participated in the 16th Thanksgiving for Peru Ceremony, in charge of evangelical churches.

The religious event took place at Camino de Vida Church in Lima's Lince district.

On this occasion, the Head of State was joined by Vice-President Dina Boluarte, First Lady Lilia Paredes, and Cabinet members, among other officials.

This event will be followed by the Independence Bicentennial Civic-Military Parade, which will start at 10:05 a.m. (local time) at the Army General Headquarters in the capital city's San Borja district.
