Peru: New Ministerial Cabinet sworn in

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Thursday night administered the oath of office to the Cabinet led by new Prime Minister Guido Bellido.

The recently sworn-in ministers are:

1. Hector Bejar Rivera (Foreign Affairs)
2. Walter Edison Ayala Gonzales (Defense)
3. Juan Manuel Carrasco Millones (Interior)
4. Juan Raul Cadillo Leon (Education)
5. Hernando Ismael Cevallos Flores (Health)
6. Victor Raul Maita Frisancho (Agrarian Development and Irrigation)
7. Iber Antenor Maravi Olarte (Labor and Employment Promotion)
8. Yvan Quispe Apaza (Production)
9. Roberto Sanchez Palomino (Foreign Trade and Tourism)
10. Ivan Godofredo Merino Aguirre (Energy and Mines)
11. Juan Francisco Silva Villegas (Transport and Communications)
12. Geiner Alvarado Lopez (Housing, Construction and Sanitation)
13. Ciro Alfredo Galvez Herrera (Culture)
14. Ruben Jose Ramirez Mateo (Environment)
15. Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra (Development and Social Inclusion)
16. Anahi Durand Guevara (Women and Vulnerable Populations)

The names of the ministers of Economy-Finance and Justice-Human Rights are yet to be announced.

Tonight's ceremony was held at the Grand National Theater in Lima.
