Peru: FA Min to attend Lima Group meeting in Argentina

Peru's Foreign Affairs Minister Nestor Popolizio will attend the Lima Group's 15th Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting on July 23 in Buenos Aires (Argentina).

The gathering is aimed at continuing the dialogue to find a political and peaceful solution to the Venezuelan crisis.

Likewise, another objective is to intensify the pressure to support the prompt restoration of democracy in the Bolivarian nation.

According to a Supreme Resolution —published in El Peruano official gazette — the official will be overseas on July 22-23.

Economy and Finance Minister Carlos Oliva will take over the Foreign Affairs portfolio during Minister Popolizio's absence.

The document was signed by President Martin Vizcarra and Prime Minister Salvador del Solar.
