Peru, Israel share successful experiences in fight against crime

Peruvian Interior Minister Alfonso Chavarry and Israeli Ambassador to Peru Asaf Ichilevich discussed citizen security strategies during a meeting.

At the event held on Thursday, they also shared successful experiences in the fight against crime.

This meeting between the authorities of both nations was intended to strengthen the reduction of crime rate in the South American country.

"Israel is one step ahead in the world in terms of technology, security, and agriculture," the Peruvian official said.

In turn, Ambassador Ichilevich recognized the work of the National Police of Peru, highlighting the efforts undertaken by the institution.

Besides, he wished Minister Chavarry success as head of the Interior sector.

At the meeting, the minister gave a protocol badge to the Israeli diplomat.
