Peru's Judicial Branch Chairman Duberli Rodriguez on Monday held a meeting with Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) representatives to discuss potential support to improve the Inca nation's justice system.

The magistrate's U.S. activities included a meeting with
Organization of American States (OAS) Secretary-General Luis Almagro.

In addition, the Judiciary head participated in a governance and corruption discussion board organized by public policy research organization Cato Institute.

The event also featured Peru's Justice and Human Rights Minister Marisol Perez Tello.

DE JURE

Both government officials are currently in the U.S. capital to attend the World Bank Group's Data and Evidence for Justice Reform (DE JURE) event, running thru Friday, June 16.

DE JURE brings together WBG staff, top government officials, partner organizations and justice sector academics to exchange justice administration experiences and expertise, which are sure to contribute to Peru's own justice system upgrading.
