Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski described as "very successful" the visit he paid to France, where he met French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, investors and entrepreneurs.
The top official said he will present his France visit results soon.
"We have concluded the two-and-a-half-day visit here, in Paris; it was very successful, a quite good meeting with investors and, above all, with President Macron," he said while taking stock of his activities in the city.
He said construction firms expressed their interest in developing projects in Peru while talking with investors.
According to the Peruvian leader, the audience with Macron reaffirmed the two countries' commitment to combating climate change and preserving democracy in Latin America.
He also emphasized his French counterpart accepted an invitation to visit the Inca nation.
Macron will visit Lima on September 13 to choose the Olympic Games 2024 host city and to support Paris' bid during the 130th International Olympic Committee session.
During his speech, he said Peru and Latin America need to grow between 5% and 6% annually to make up for lost time and generate jobs women and youth need in order to make progress.
Moreover, the statesman met OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurria, and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) President Luis Alberto Moreno.
After the talk with Gurria, he affirmed Peru's potential entry into the OECD as a full member is on the right track.
He also met Guatemalan leader Jimmy Morales, with whom he agreed to deepen bilateral relations.
"We will head to Madrid (Spain) on the weekend, and return to Lima on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning," he concluded.
