The meeting between Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres discussed the leading role of Peru in Latin America, Government Palace Press Secretariat informed on Friday.
"They discoursed on Peru's leading role in Latin America, entry into the UN Security Council and implementation of the 2030 Agenda," reads the post on Twitter.
The gathering took place at the UN headquarters in New York.
Peruvian leader was accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Ricardo Luna.
Upon his arrival at the international organization's headquarters, Mr. Kuczynski signed the United Nations Honor Book.
