Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Thursday afternoon honored fellow-citizen and entrepreneur Samuel Gleiser Katz at Lima's Torre Tagle Palace.
The businessman was granted the Order of the Sun in the Grade of Grand Cross for his outstanding career in favor of the country's economic growth.
On this occasion, he was praised for having promoted the adoption of several trade agreements, which positioned the Inca country on the world's economic map.
Said treaties have allowed Peru to achieve greater access to foreign markets and improve relations with other nations.
Gleiser is a manufacturing sector entrepreneur, who presided over the Lima Chamber of Commerce board.
