Taking into consideration the high demand for gastronomic tours worldwide, Peruvian travel company Latin Trails has released a practical book describing the flavors and ingredients of the exotic Peruvian cuisine.

The cookbook includes 32 Peruvian recipes covering appetizers, main dishes and desserts.

Peru is well known for its amazing gastronomy, thanks to its historical development during colonial times, along with its modern cosmopolitan background composed initially by late immigrants from western Europe and a few parts of Asia.

"In this interesting gastronomic book you would learn how to prepare in a practical way the local dishes such as the "ceviches" seafood cocktails considered appetizers, "Ajiaco de Papas" which is a sort of hot sauce potatoes, and the famous desserts alike," Latin Trials said in a statement.

"You will also get familiar with the primary ingredients traditionally found in the Peruvian diet such as rice, potatoes, onions, fish, lamb, pork, chicken along with the three kinds of Peruvian peppers classified in colors such as yellow, red, and rocoto red.

Latin Trails is an inbound tour operator with offices in Ecuador and Peru.
