Thailand's Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul hopes his country and Peru will soon conclude negotiations to sign a free trade agreement (FTA).
During a meeting with Peru's Foreign Minister Rafael Roncagliolo at the 20th APEC Summit, he stressed the strong ties of friendship and cooperation between both countries that shows their great level of political and trade relations.
He also announced that Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra would lead a delegation of Thai businesspeople to South American countries.
Moreover, Tovichakchaikul confirmed his participation in the next International Conference on Alternative Development to be held in November in Peru.
