Peruvian cuisine and pisco were praised for their high quality and diversity at Savour 2012 - Singapore's First Gourmet Festival, carried out from March 30 to April 1 in this country.
According to Peruvian Embassy in Singapore, chef Virgilio Martines and his chef team at Restaurante Central presented some of their dishes inspired by products from the Peruvian jungle as symbols of their cuisine offer.

Besides praises from the audience, critics considered Peruvian gastronomy as a high quality cuisine.

Their participation allowed Singapore and Southeast Asia to learn more about the Peruvian cuisine as this was the first Peruvian restaurant to be invited to take part in this prestigious event.
