Prince Christian of Hannover and Peruvian fashion designer Alessandra Osma held a lavish religious wedding in Lima, Peru this Friday.

Although they officially tied the knot last year, the couple decided to seal their union with a religious service, joined not only by their relatives but celebrities and members of European royalty.

The dream wedding is set to last three days, as celebrations are likely to carry on throughout the weekend.

Festivities started on Thursday, on the eve of the ceremony, with a pre-wedding dinner at a Nikkei food restaurant.

The nuptials were held Friday at noon at Basilica San Pedro (Saint Peter), situated in the capital's historic center.

Among the guests were Alejandra de Rojas and Tatiana Shin Botin, granddaughter of deceased Spanish banker Emilio Botin.

Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece, his daughter Olympia, Antonius von Furstenberg, and Brazilian fashion designer Andrea Dellal, among others, also decamped to the bride's native Peru.

Even English supermodel Kate Moss made an appearance, joined by her boyfriend Count Nikolai von Bismarck.

Guests stayed at Goyeneche Palace before heading to the church.

Nearby streets were closed to allow attendees reach the ceremony.

Afterwards, the celebrations continued with a lunch at Club Nacional.

Later, the couple and their glamorous guests will enjoy a cocktail reception at Casa Berckemeyer, owned by Alessandra de Osma's family.

The wedding reception will take place on Saturday at Lima's Pedro de Osma Museum.
