Peru, U.S. to share terrorism-related information

The Governments of Peru and the United States of America on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on information exchange to enhance terrorist screening system.

The initiative is intended to strengthen efforts to prevent and combat this global scourge.

Likewise, it attempts to enhance both countries' capacities by exchanging information on this matter, in accordance with national legislation.


According to Peru's Foreign Affairs Ministry, this memorandum is an example of the governments' willingness to deepen bilateral cooperation.

Likewise, it reflects their commitment to working together for the security and well-being of their citizens.
