The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday officially released recently-sworn-in President Martin Vizcarra from duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to Canada.
The decision was made official by Supreme Resolution No. 066-2018-RE, published in El Peruano gazette.
The document thanks Vizcarra for the important services he rendered to the Inca nation.
The abovementioned Resolution was inked by Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and Foreign Affairs Minister Cayetana Aljovin.
Vizcarra is a civil engineer and served as Moquegua Region Governor between 2011 and 2014. Likewise, he has experience in the private sector.
As is known, the 55-year-old high-ranking official
landed in Lima from Toronto on Friday at 12:47 AM (local time) to be later sworn in as new President.
Afterwards, he affirmed the country can get ahead and urged citizens to rely on faith and optimism.
