Peru's Air Force (FAP) delivered over two tons of humanitarian aid to southern Puno region residents affected by frosts.

Supported by Puno's regional government, the initiative was possible thanks to the implementation of "Wings of Hope III" operation.

Beneficiaries were citizens from the following population centers: Pamphota, Chimpa, Mercedes, Huamanruro and Cuyo Mocco.

Likewise, the operation benefited residents of Pisacoma, Usicayos, Huancane and Ilave districts.

The humanitarian aid —composed of supplies, blankets and drinking water— is part of the whole 17-ton shipment delivered to the region.
