Peru Ambassador presents credentials to Latvia President

Peruvian Ambassador Thierry Roca-Rey Deladrier presented credential letters to Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis, the Andean country's Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.

Such credentials recognized the appointment of Roca-Rey as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to said European nation.

On the occasion, both authorities addressed negotiations linked to bilateral agreements.

Likewise, they expressed their mutual interest in further deepening economic-trade ties uniting both nations.

The Peruvian envoy also addressed the upcoming Inca business delegation's visit to Latvia, multilateral issues, as well as other relevant topics of common interest included in the global and regional agenda.

Lastly, the diplomat expressed his appreciation to Latvia for backing Peru's aspiration to join the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

It must be noted Roca-Rey concurrently serves as Ambassador to Lithuania and Estonia.
