Bilateral meetings and gatherings with leaders from around the globe marked the second day of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Viet Nam.

The photo gallery above includes some of the best pictures from a wide variety of these events.

President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski leads the Peruvian delegation attending the Summit. On Friday, he met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

The audience with Turnbull served to reiterate Peru and Australia's commitment to inking a free trade agreement.

Afterwards, Mr. Kuczynski attended the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Dialogue with leaders of the 21 APEC member economies including Vladimir Putin (Russia), Michelle Bachelet (Chile) and Enrique Peña Nieto (Mexico).

Also, he took part in the informal dialogue between APEC and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
