The Navy ship (B.A.P.) Union —a training vessel of the Peruvian Navy and one of the largest sailing ships in the world— arrived at Dublin Bay on September 6 and anchored in the southern part of Dublin.

The public visited the ship during its three-day stay in the Irish capital.

The vessel was welcomed by representatives of Peru's Embassy in Ireland, the Department of Foreign Affairs, Dublin Port personnel, and members of the local Peruvian community.

The B.A.P. Union made its first visit to Dublin as an ambassador of Peruvian culture and tradition on the world's seas.

Its visit allowed the Irish public and the international community to engage with Peru's naval history and its rich cultural heritage.
