Peru: President Boluarte meets with OECD Secretary General

The President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, held a meeting with Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Secretary-General Mathias Cormann.

During the meeting, the Government's actions to generate sustainable development, economic growth, and citizens' well-being were highlighted.

Likewise, Peru emphasized that these efforts are carried out without engaging in acts of corruption and are advancing in the implementation of the recommendations from this international organization.

The meeting was attended by Cabinet Chief Eduardo Arana, as well as Ministers Elmer Schialer (Foreign Affairs), Juan Jose Santivañez (Justice and Human Rights), and Raul Perez Reyes (Economy and Finance).

It took place at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.

The OECD is an intergovernmental organization comprising 38 countries.

Its mission is to promote policies that improve the economic and social well-being of people worldwide. 

Its member countries share fundamental guidelines on economic policy, pluralistic democracy, and respect for human rights.
