Peru was elected in Paris to preside over the 19th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions of
. Peru's Permanent Representative to the organization, Ambassador Carlos Herrera, will lead this session in February 2026.
