Peru condemns attack on Denmark's PM

Peru —through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs— condemned an aggression against the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen.

The government agency issued a message on Friday night, conveying solidarity to the Danish government and people.

Via social media, the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong condemnation of the aforementioned aggression, as well as rejection of any type of violence.


Mette Frederiksen was hit by an individual at a square in Copenhagen on Friday. The assailant was arrested by Danish police.

The top political leaders of Spain, Portugal, and Italy, among other countries, also expressed condemnation of this aggression.
