Located in the Empowering Lives zone on the artificial island of Yumeshima (Osaka), the pavilion highlights Peru's megadiversity and its potential to generate opportunities that drive development, creativity, and progress.
This space represents the essence of an ancient nation that looks to the future with ambition.
"Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai is one of the world's most important events for cultural, economic, and diplomatic exchange. With over 28 million visitors expected, it represents an unprecedented opportunity to showcase Peru's wealth, diversity, and potential to the world," Minister Leon underscored.
"Our participation, aligned with the theme 'Infinite Possibilities,' allows us to promote an image of Peru as an innovative, sustainable, and opportunity-rich country," she added.
During the six months of the World Expo, visitors will be able to explore a thematic space that begins with Peru's privileged geographical location and continues with an impressive display of its heritage.
In addition to its cultural offering, the Peruvian Pavilion will host business meetings, trade missions, and seminars aimed at over 60 Asian buyers.
This effort aims to expand the presence of Peruvian companies —particularly from the agro-industrial and textile sectors— in the competitive Asian market.
Inspired by the traditional Pucará bull —a symbol of prosperity and protection— this character was specially created to commemorate the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Peru and Japan and will serve as a cultural ambassador throughout the event.
Metaverse
Peru's participation also extends to the digital realm through the Virtual Expo, a metaverse platform that will allow visitors to tour the pavilions —including our country's— from anywhere in the world, with immersive activities and experiences.
The Peruvian Pavilion is an open window to the nation's diversity: its vibrant agriculture, masterful textiles, exquisite craftsmanship, and renowned cuisine.
Designed to inspire and inform, it invites visitors to explore Peru's history, creativity, and future vision, a country with infinite possibilities to discover.
