As part of efforts to promote culture, the
Consulate General of Peru in Tokyo inaugurated the photo exhibition titled "Remembrances: 35 Years of Peruvian Migration to Japan" at the Isesaki Municipality in Gunma Prefecture, Japan, on July 8.
Through images captured by Peruvian community members, the exhibit shows the values, traditions, and customs of fellow citizens who have resided in the Asian country for over three decades.
Similarly, it highlights the contributions of Peruvians in the Japanese archipelago.
Among the attendees were Isesaki Mayor, Yasuo Hiji, and local commune members.
This exhibition will be open to the public until July 19.
