The Presidency of the Republic on Armed Forces Day highlighted the vital work carried out by their members in favor of the country.
"On Armed Forces Day, we recognize the brave and tireless work of the military, committed to ensuring Peru's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity," reads a message posted by the Presidential Office on social media.
September 24 was established as the date to honor the institutions that make up the Armed Forces, whose fundamental mission is the defense of the national territory and the security of all Peruvians.
