From Piura, where she inaugurated the 14790 Maria Garcia de Gonzalez School on Thursday,
said her Government is convinced that investment in education should be directed towards enhancing educational infrastructure and school equipment.
The top official said that education is a fundamental priority for the Government, because every step taken towards quality education brings this nation closer to the goal of turning Peru into a first world country.
"As a result of our firm commitment to children and adolescents, today we are adding the thirteenth school in this northern, thriving, and entrepreneurial region of Piura," she expressed.
Mrs. Boluarte specified that, prior to the start of the 2024 school year, two modern and equipped educational institutions were inaugurated through the National Infrastructure Authority in Ancash, La Libertad, Cajamarca, and Piura regions, as a demonstration of the firm commitment to children.
The modern infrastructure of the I. E. 14790 Maria Garcia de Gonzalez —she said— is equipped with furniture, chairs, projectors, blackboards, two libraries, a multipurpose room, a classroom for pedagogical innovation, sports courts, recreational spaces, green areas, and a design that prevents possible damage caused by rain.
"We have invested every single resource well, because we are clear that every Sol (Peruvian currency) allocated to education must fulfill its purpose of educating, as well as ensuring the present and future of children and youth," Mrs. Boluarte stated.
"In Government, we showcase the projects, keep our promises, and do not offer false hopes. Dear girls and boys, you have a Government that stands by you and will never waver in its commitment to providing you with the tools to reach your full potential and development; education is a universal right," she added.
