Peru: President Boluarte attends former FA Minister Gervasi's wake

President Dina Boluarte attended the wake for former Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi on Friday at Torre Tagle Palace, the Foreign Affairs Ministry headquarters in Lima.

Joined by Cabinet Chief Gustavo Adrianzen, as well as Ministers Elmer Schialer (Foreign Affairs), Eduardo Arana (Justice), and Julio de Martini (Development-Social Inclusion), the top official escorted the late diplomat's coffin.

President Boluarte also expressed condolences to the family of Ambassador Gervasi.

Before passing away, she served as Permanent Representative of Peru to International Organizations in Geneva, the Swiss Confederation.



As is known, she had served as Minister of Foreign Affairs between December 10, 2022, and November 6, 2023.

The Executive Branch ordered that the National Flag be flown at half-mast at Torre Tagle Palace in her honor.
