Peru's President arrives in New York to participate in UN General Assembly

To position Peru as a committed actor in peace and sustainable development, and to strengthen the country's image as a reliable and attractive partner, the official Peruvian delegation arrived in New York, United States, on Sunday.

The delegation will take part in the United Nations General Assembly from September 21 to 25.

Upon her arrival in the United States, President Dina Boluarte who leads the official delegation was welcomed by Peru's Ambassador to the United States, Alfredo Ferrero, as well as by Peru's Permanent Representative to the UN, Gustavo Adrianzen. 

During the global event, the Head of State will carry out a working agenda that includes bilateral meetings with authorities from other countries and with businesspeople interested in investing in Peru.


The debate will begin on September 23, continue until September 27, and conclude on September 29, 2025.
