Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen highlighted the strong level of bilateral relations between Peru and Switzerland.

Remarks were made during the launch of the Swiss Economic Cooperation (SECO) Country Program 2025-2028 held in the Peruvian capital, Lima.

"It is a great pleasure for me to join you, on behalf of the government of President Boluarte. I would like to highlight, with particular satisfaction, the continuity and sustainability of Swiss interventions in our country, whose success allows for opening a new chapter in this fruitful collaboration," he stated.

The Country Program will promote resilient subnational growth centers and foster a competitive, innovative, and sustainable private sector, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) reported on Thursday evening.

In this regard, Adrianzen stated that the bilateral relationship is built on solid foundations, with its pillars being respect for and the preservation of democratic institutions, the protection of human rights, the strengthening of multilateralism, as well as mutual understanding and collaboration.

On its official website, the Swiss Embassy in Peru states that the SECO Economic Cooperation Program 2025-2028 promotes sustainable economic growth by supporting Peru's alignment with the standards of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

"These reforms aim to improve governance, strengthen the rule of law, reduce corruption, and restore public trust in institutions," the diplomatic mission pointed out.
