The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Sunday stated that Peru is steadfastly advancing towards economic reactivation and job creation.

"Peru is firmly advancing towards its economic revival, job creation, and a pivotal place in the world by leveraging its strategic position in the Americas to develop its capacities and build the well-being and security needed by its citizens," she said.

The president indicated that the economic stagnation witnessed upon assuming office, resulting from a policy opposed to private investment, is now progressively giving way to a reactivation and an expansive economic cycle, with bureaucratic knots being untied, as well as projects being unblocked and set in motion nationwide.

"Unlike the difficult situation we faced last year, our country nowadays maintains monetary and fiscal strength, solid international reserves, inflation within target range, presence in global markets, prudent economic management, and governance capable of withstanding severe crises," Mrs. Boluarte stated.

"Our country opens its doors; similarly, it welcomes capital and investment funds from around the world without distinction, offering all foreign investors a predictable economy, supported by sound macroeconomic fundamentals that ensure stability and sustainable growth," she added.

The top official indicated that Peru's legal stability is a fundamental pillar, as it ensures that all foreign investments rely on a clear and reliable legal framework, guaranteeing the right to private property.

"We are convinced that Peru is full of investment opportunities in various sectors, from infrastructure and mining to technology, renewable energy, and tourism. We invite all countries, without exception, to be part of our development and growth," Mrs. Boluarte expressed.

"With the objectivity and calmness that my position demands, I can say that the political stability we have in Peru today allows us to look at and focus on the homeland's major objectives, a task in which we must all participate from our respective fields," she stated.

Remarks were made during her Address to the Nation delivered on the occasion of Peru's 203rd Independence Anniversary at Congress headquarters in Lima.
