Peru's FA Min talks with European authorities within framework of Ukraine Peace Summit

As Peruvian delegation head, Foreign Affairs Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea on Saturday greeted Presidents Viola Amherd (Swiss Confederation) and Volodymyr Zelensky (Ukraine), within the framework of the Summit on Peace in Ukraine, held at the Bürgenstock resort.

Likewise, the Peruvian government official held a meeting with Swiss Secretary of State for Peace and Human Rights, Ambassador Simon Geissbühler, in order to assess the latest events in the war, as well as the prospects for this important first effort to put an end to it.

Meanwhile, the Swiss authority appreciated Peru's vision of the conflict, as well as the constructive spirit of issuing proposals and resolution guidelines expressed by our delegation.

Furthermore, the Cabinet member spoke with Croatia's Foreign Affairs Minister Gordan Grlic-Radman, who traveled to the Peruvian capital, Lima, last March.
Together with Montenegro's President Jakov Milatovic and Croatia's Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, they had a brief conversation about the prospects of this effort for world peace.

During the summit's first day, the Foreign Affairs head was present as Peru's representative at the plenary session that was attended by heads of state, as well as by prime and foreign affairs ministers.

On Sunday, Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea presented Peru's contributions to the solution for the conflict at the thematic session "Human Dimension."
