Peru: Annual trade surplus totaled US$19.894 billion as of Jul 2024

As of July 2024, the accumulated trade balance over the last 12 months reached a surplus of US$19.894 billion, exceeding by more than US$5 billion the figure registered in the same month last year, the Central Reserve Bank (BCR) reported.

APEC Trade Committee approved 10 Peruvian cooperation projects

Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Desilu Leon stressed that the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum this year approved funding for 10 multi-sectoral cooperation projects, worth an amount close to US$1 million, presented by Peru to the Committee on Trade and Investment (CTI).
