Peruvian Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen on Thursday held a meeting with Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Economics Department Policy Studies Director Alvaro Santos Pereira —within the framework of his trip to Paris to participate in the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting.

During the gathering, they discussed the main findings reported in the Peru 2023 Economic Survey prepared by the OECD, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) reported via X (formerly Twitter).

"The survey highlighted the country's strong macroeconomic framework, which is based on fiscal rules and the independence of Peru's Central Reserve Bank. Besides, it issued recommendations for more inclusive and sustainable growth that contributes to reducing social gaps," it added.

The Cabinet chief also reaffirmed the high priority that Peru attaches to its accession to the OECD.

Adrianzen added that this objective reinforces the Government's commitment to implementing balanced and sustainable economic policies that benefit everyone.
