Peru: Presidential Office appoints Fredy Hinojosa as Spokesperson

Fredy Hinojosa Angulo on Friday evening began his duties as spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic.

Within this framework, he reported on President Dina Boluarte's activities held yesterday.

Hinojosa —who also serves as chief of the Presidential Office's technical cabinet— indicated that the spokesperson position will be a direct communication channel from said instance of the Executive Branch.

The purpose is to provide citizens with important details regarding the activities held at the Government Palace which see the president's participation, he indicated.

Education

Hinojosa is a lawyer and has a degree in administration.

He pursued studies at the National University of San Agustin in Arequipa, southern Peru.

Likewise, the official holds a master's degree from the Pontifical Catholic University in Lima.

He is also a graduate from the PhD program in Law and Political Sciences at the Lima-based Nacional University of San Marcos.

Career 

Hinojosa has served as Secretary General at the Ministry of Culture and advisor to the Main Office at the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion.

He was executive director of the Qali Warma National School Food Program, the National Action Platforms for Social Inclusion Program, the National Food Assistance Program, the Informal Property Formalization Agency, and the Youth Labor Training Program.
