The Budget Bill for fiscal year 2025 is realistic, orderly, and focused on Peruvian regions, Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen stated during his presentation at a Congress plenary session on Thursday.

Adrianzen said that the budget proposed by the Executive Branch allows for a more efficient and democratic allocation of public resources so that State-run entities can meet their goals and address their priorities for the benefit of the population.

"At the same time, it allows us to put forward a realistic and orderly budget bill for 2025, with a clear emphasis on regions and prioritizing the needs of the most vulnerable citizens," he indicated.

The Cabinet chief said the Executive Branch is convinced of continuing to foster growth and development with greater social justice.

Adrianzen noted that Peru's economy this year has begun a recovery process and is demonstrating remarkable resilience, backed by solid macroeconomic fundamentals.

He also pointed out that Peru has monetary and fiscal strength, solid international reservesactive presence in international markets, reasonable deficit and public debt levels, a growth projection of over 3% for the year 2025, with raw material prices at favorable levels.

"These fiscal strengths have undoubtedly been key to consolidating market confidence. This exceptional circumstance, which has required a plenty of work, now enables us to finance important investments under highly competitive conditions," he noted.

Adrianzen supported before Congress the Public Sector Budget Bill for Fiscal Year 2025, which amounts to S/251,801,045,185 (about US$66,385,722,432).
