Peru to attend BIS's conference in Brazil

Peru’s Central Reserve Bank will participate in the third conference of International Monetary Fund and the Financial Stability Board of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) to be held on April 26 and 27 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The conference will present the best works of central banks in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Federal Reserve (Fed) of United States, selected by BIS’s Scientific Committee.

BCR noted that its policy is to keep its staff updated on essential aspects related to its purpose and functions.

In this sense, BCR authorized Hugo Vega, who is a specialist in Economic Reseach at BCR Economic Studies Department, to travel to Brazil in order to participate in said event.
