Once again, Peru ranks among the countries that currently request most 2018 World Cup tickets.

According to FIFA, Peruvian fans secured 9,493 tickets out the 356,700 that have been allocated to supporters from around the world.

In this sense, the international ticket distribution is led by Russia (197,036), followed by the United States (14,845), Argentina (14,564), Colombia (13,994), Mexico (13,505), Brazil (9,691), Peru (9,493), Australia (5,500), Germany (5,476), China (5,459), and India (4,166).

It must be noted these figures were recorded within the first 24 hours of the sales period, which started on March 13.

Likewise, soccer's governing body encouraged fans to visit its website in order to check the traffic light system showing ticket availability.

It also reminded supporters from all over the world the only way to buy 2018 World Cup tickets is through its official webpage.

For this reason, FIFA warned that tickets —obtained from any other source— will be automatically canceled, and holders will neither be allowed to enter stadiums nor receive any refund or compensation.
