Peruvian aerobic gymnast Thais Fernandez secured a silver medal at this year's Aquae Open Cup.
The sporting event took place in Aix-les-Bains, France on March 17-18.
The competition featured athletes from Hungary, Mexico, Russia, China, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Algeria, Germany, Austria, Belgium, among other countries.
The Peruvian scored 20.150 points, thus claiming silver.
The winner was Russian Maria Tereshina, while the second and third spots were grabbed by Peruvian Fernandez and Portuguese Sara Silva, respectively.
"We've been training so hard […]. Thank you all for your continued support," Fernandez expressed.
