Peru President opens International Media Center for Pope Francis' visit

Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Thursday morning opened the International Media Center that will cover Pope Francis' visit to the Inca nation.

As is known, journalists from all over the world are coming to Peru to cover this milestone event.
 
The ceremony featured former Labor Minister Alfonso Grados, Culture Minister Alejandro Neyra, and Cardinal Juan Luis Cipriani, among other authorities.

Located at Museo de la Nacion (Museum of the Nation) in Lima's San Borja district, the site is designed to meet the needs of nearly 2,500 accredited journalists as they cover the papal activities in the Peruvian capital.

According to Grados, head of the Papal Visit Organization Committee in Peru, the center is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, so that journalists can fulfill their tasks more rapidly.
