President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Friday affirmed he had answered transparently every question posed by Peruvian Congress' Lava Jato investigative commission.

Via Twitter, the Head of State reiterated he had not committed any irregularity.

In addition, Peru's top official underscored he will always be willing to cooperate with the investigations.

"With democratic honesty and transparency, I answered all the Lava Jato commission's questions," the post reads.

"I am —and will always be— willing to collaborate with the investigations, with the full conviction that I did not commit any wrongful acts […]," he added.

The President met with Congress' Lava Jato Commission members, who had arrived at Lima's Government Palace earlier to collect statements from him.

As is known, a group of legislators from opposition parties filed a new presidential impeachment motion against the Head of State on the grounds of moral incapacity.

Congress will debate the new impeachment motion on March 22.
