Worshippers from different countries on Friday morning gathered in diverse areas of the capital city Lima to see Pope Francis and ask for his blessings, as well as good wishes for their loved ones.

In front of the Apostolic Nunciature, a group of Paraguayans —holding their national flag— seemed happy to be able to see and pray not far from the Vicar of Christ.

Likewise —during Pope Francis' trip to Air Group N°8— there were several enthusiastic Venezuelans. One of them was waving a small flag.

Through tears, a Venezuelan woman asked the Supreme Pontiff to pray for her country, so that their compatriots can overcome the current economic and political crisis affecting their nation.

Likewise, many Brazilians and Argentineans were waving pennants in front of the Apostolic Nunciature, where Pope Francis is staying while in the Inca country.

On his second visit day, Pope Francis headed to Air Group N°8, where he boarded a Latam plane on his way to Puerto Maldonado city to meet with indigenous peoples.
