17:42 | Lima, Jan. 17.

Fifteen Peruvian swimmers will participate in UANA Swimming Cup's first edition.

The sporting event will take place on January 19-21 at the Coral Springs Aquatic Complex in Florida (United States).

The Peruvian delegation —composed of young athletes— will be joined by coaches Maria Isabel Barragan and Aldo Murakami, as well as Peruvian Sports Swimming Federation's (FDPN) Head Jose Torres.

It must be noted the contest —organized by the Swimming Union of the Americas (UANA)— will bring together around 500 athletes from 20 countries belonging to Central and South America.

Athletes, who stand out in the competition, will be allowed to participate in the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games to be held in Buenos Aires (Argentina) this October.
